Reiki is Japanese for the concept of "universal life force energy" and is a gentle yet powerful system of energy-based healing and personal growth practices. Created in the early 1920's by Mikao Usui, a Japanese lay Buddhist, practitioners of Reiki utilize non-invasive light touch to restore harmony and balance to oneself and others. Reiki is not a religious practice nor is it affiliated with any religion.
The focus of Reiki I is on self-healing. No prior healing experience is needed. In this workshop you will:
•Be attuned to Reiki and certified in Reiki Level I
•Learn the Five Principles of Reiki, meditations, and energy techniques
•Learn the hand positions to facilitate healing for self and for others
•Give and receive a Reiki treatment
A workbook & certificate of completion are included in the course.
The workshop fee is $160. Early bird registration paid in full by 3/3/17 is $140.
